DCM... Beads

This is my card for the DCM weekly challenge and
the theme this week is 'Beads'.
Think I've gone a bit OTT on the bead front but then
anyone who knows me knows I like beads.. lovely shiny
beads, all different shapes and sizes :o) ... anyway where was I..
Oh yes LOL... stamp used is by Inkadinkado, the background
paper I made myself and tinted everything with Color Box
chalk ink pads. Finished off with.. BEADS!!!

Wednesday Stamper - Hats

This is the first time I've had a go at the
Wednesday Stamper weekly challenge
and the theme this week is 'Hats'.
Stamp is 'Sophisticated Lady' from Stamps
Happen which I coloured with watercolour
pencils and added a bit of glitter glue in pink
and white to accent certain bits.

Hat Inchies

This months theme for Joanne's Inchie swap
is 'Hats'!!
I've made nine but only scanned one because
getting to my scanner is awkward and I probably
would have spat my dummy lol
Stamp is by Stamps Happen and it's coloured with
Color Box chalk ink pads.

Friendship Domino Book

This Domino Book was inspired by my daughter
Freya and her school bear Matilda!! Each child
gets to bring her home for a night and write
about what they got up to in Matilda's special
diary... It's very difficult to get her to take her
back!! This was made for a swap hosted by
Melanie and the theme was 'Friendship'.

The image on the top domino is an actual
photo of Freya and Matilda that I've used
paintshop pro to manipulate to make it look
like a drawing of them.
The bottom one is a JS Personal Impressions
stamp and was stamped with black Stazon.
All the colouring is done by Color Box Chalk
ink pads and the effect is actually a lot pinker
than on the scanned images. They were finished
off with a good covering of glossy accents.

DCM Tagged.. Jeans

The DCM Challenge this week.....
'I dare you to make a card using a tag, label, sticker or
anything else you can find, thats from packaging and would
normally end up in the bin. Of course you can ink it, change
it, distress it and add anything else you like! If you're feeling
brave, I DOUBLE DARE you to make it a card for a man!'
----------------------------------
No, I'm not rich!! LOL it was a designer outlet job a good few
years ago but it's the sort of thing you always seem
to keep! Jeans stamp is my own and I used Whispers and
Tim Holtz ink pads along with some k&comany backing paper.

DCM - Fabulous!!!!

Thought I'd kill two birds with one stone and have a go at
the DCM extra challenge and use the card in a swap I'm
participating in too... the challenge is a word theme and
the word is 'Fabulous' :o)
Both stamps are Inkadinkado...

Did someone say Yellow??

This is for an Inchies swap hosted by Joanne and
the theme was YELLOW. I cheated and used yellow
card to begin with, then stamped over the top with
a black Stazon using a Whispers tree Stamp.

It's a RED Thing!!

I've made these for an ATC swap I'm taking
part in and the theme was 'RED'.
I used a Versa Color ink pad in 'Scarlet' for
the backgrounds. The 'lady in Paris' was
kindly stamped for me by a friend.

The bottom ATC was again an image from
Karenswhimsy.com, Sponged over with a
Versa Color ink pad and Tim Holtz
destress inks. 'Best friends' was stamped
with Stazon.

Citrus/Tropical ATC's

I've made these for a swap my friend Gillian is
hosting and the theme was Citrus/Tropical Colours.

The Background of the top one has been done with
Colour Box chalk ink pads and stamped over with
a See D's stamp. The lady is from a 'Paris' stamp I
have and was stamped with Stazon then coloured like
the background.

This one was again all dones with Colour Box ink pads
and then See D's were used to stamp the words.
Not much stamping sorry Gillian LOL

This last one was again using Colour Box chalk
ink pads and a little sand.. it was finished off
by double stamping some trees.

Vintage Couple ATC's

I made these for a swap a friend Melanie is hosting
and the theme was Vintage Couples. I've used images
from Karenswhimsy.com I Stamped the wording using
Stazon and used perfect pearls for the backgrounds
(although you can't really see it from the pics unfortunately)

DCM - You're not the (em)boss of me

Decided to be brave and have a go at the DCM challenge.
This weeks was embossing. I stamped the tree's first
using black Stazon, then stamped again slightly off
centre with a Versamark ink pad and embossed it using
gold embossing powder.
The background is sponged using a fawny coloured
whispers ink pad then I sprinkled a bit of gold
embossing powder over the top and blasted it with my
heat gun.
Finally finished it off by dry embossing round the edges
and added some funky fibres down the side.
It's very GOLD LOL

My First Inchies

These are my first attempt at Inchies for a swap
that Seona is hosting. There wasn't a theme so I
picked something easy to pop my Inchie Cherry
with lol. I sponged the background using Tim
Holtz 'Antique Linen' Distress Ink and then
stamped the images with Stazon.

Mini Explosion Box

This is a Mini Explosion Box I've made
for my father-in-law for fathers day
from the girls. Not really my taste but
I know he'll love it and that's the main
thing :o)

Domino

I bought some dominoes for a swap I'm
going to have a go at and thought I'd practice
first. I've no idea where I've put my Alki Inks so
had to use glass paints instead which actually
worked really well. Really pleased with how it
turned out :o)

Explosion Box 8.2x8.2cm squares

I made these 8.2x8.2cm squares for an
explosion box being made by a friend
for Kaz's birthday. I used Colour Box
chalk inks in purply tones as that was
the theme.

Acrylic Piece

This is an acrylic piece I did. I used an
Anita's rubber stamp, Stazon ink pad and aged
gold embossing powder.
Of course I managed it in one attempt! LOL

Tag Book

This was my first attempt at a tag type
book and I made it for a Circle friend using
Inkadinkado rubber stamps and Whispers ink pads.
